Juvenile, Education & Child Advocacy
HOLIDAY INGRAHAM LAW
Protecting children. Empowering families. Advocating for brighter futures.
Child & Juvenile Court Advocacy
Giving children a voice when it matters most.
Children involved in the juvenile court system deserve an advocate who will listen to them, protect their interests, and ensure their voices are heard. Holiday Ingraham Law represents and advocates for children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected, providing them with independent legal representation, protecting their legal rights, ensuring their voices are heard, and advocating for their expressed objectives consistent with the attorney-client relationship and Georgia law.
As Juvenile Court Child Attorneys, we advocate for children throughout juvenile court proceedings and work with families, agencies, service providers, schools, and community partners to pursue outcomes that promote safety, stability, well-being, and permanency. Our advocacy recognizes that every child is more than the circumstances that brought them into the legal system. We are committed to ensuring that the children we represent are heard, protected, and given the opportunity to move forward toward a safe and successful future.
Adoption & Permanency
Helping families turn permanency into forever.
Adoption is more than a legal proceeding; it is the creation and legal recognition of a permanent family. Holiday Ingraham Law provides representation to individuals and families navigating the adoption process and helps clients understand and satisfy the legal requirements necessary to establish a permanent parent-child relationship. Our adoption representation may include stepparent adoptions, relative and kinship adoptions, private adoptions, and adoptions arising from juvenile or dependency proceedings, depending upon the circumstances of the case.
Our services include assisting clients throughout the adoption process, including evaluating legal requirements, addressing necessary consents and surrenders, preparing and filing court documents, coordinating procedural requirements, and representing clients through the final adoption hearing. Whether adoption follows years of caregiving or marks the beginning of a new family relationship, we approach each matter with the care and attention appropriate to one of life’s most meaningful legal proceedings.
Education, Student Discipline & Special Education Advocacy
Protecting educational rights. Removing barriers. Helping students succeed.
Every child deserves meaningful access to an education and the opportunity to learn in an environment where their individual needs are recognized and supported. Holiday Ingraham Law represents students and families navigating school-related legal matters, including student discipline, Section 504 accommodations, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), special education services, Title IX and related meetings, hearings, and administrative proceedings.
Our representation may include matters involving:
-
Section 504 Plans — eligibility, accommodations, implementation concerns, and disputes regarding access to educational programs and services;
-
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) — eligibility, evaluations and reevaluations, services, supports, placement, implementation, and educational programming;
-
IEP and Section 504 meetings — preparing families for meetings and advocating alongside parents and students during discussions with school personnel;
-
Special education and other disputes and hearings — representation in investigations and appropriate administrative proceedings involving evaluations, services, placement, accommodations, procedural protections, and educational programming;
-
Student discipline — suspensions, expulsions, disciplinary tribunals and hearings, manifestation determination reviews, and related proceedings; and
-
School-related advocacy — helping families address circumstances in which a student’s educational rights, access to appropriate services, or ability to succeed in school may be at risk.
Attorney Holiday Ingraham’s experience as a former K-12 Director of Student Discipline and Hearing Officer provides a distinctive understanding of how school systems approach student discipline, procedural requirements, educational decision-making, and student-support issues.
That experience allows us to advocate with insight into both the legal framework and the practical realities of school-system decision-making. We help parents understand their options, prepare for important meetings and hearings, communicate effectively with school personnel, and advocate for solutions that protect their child’s educational rights and long-term success.
